A Saw Operator is responsible for setting up and operating cutting machinery to trim or cut materials such as aluminum according to specifications.

Job Duties and responsibilities:

Measure, mark, and cut materials based on work orders or blueprints
Set up machines, including blade changes and adjustments
Fabricate metal components according to specifications.
Monitor and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Maintain machinery, report concerns to the Shop Manager.
Keep work area clean and follow safety protocols.
Adhere to company policies and goals.
Operate machines, inspect work for quality.
Lift and position work pieces manually.
Change tools and perform machine maintenance.
Check material for defects and maintain inventory.
Receive and verify Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy and special requirements.
Attend production meetings as needed.
Work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Valid forklift license preferred.
Run first-piece samples for calibration.
Serve as the main contact for shop assistance.
Have reliable transportation.
Lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

Requirements:

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
