Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts
Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
Support the overall food service process by assisting with meal assembly and plating as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent skills in serving, food industry practices, and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
