About the Role
As a Gaming Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and optimization of video game applications and interactive entertainment products. Working alongside artists, designers, producers, and fellow developers, you will help bring innovative game concepts to life while ensuring exceptional gameplay performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain game features, mechanics, and systems for PC, console, mobile, and online gaming platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using industry-standard programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with game designers, artists, animators, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Implement gameplay functionality, user interfaces, AI systems, physics mechanics, and multiplayer features.
- Optimize game performance, memory usage, and frame rates across supported platforms.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and gameplay bugs.
- Integrate audio, visual, networking, and third-party platform services.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
- Contribute to the development of tools, pipelines, and automation processes that improve productivity.
- Stay current with emerging gaming technologies, development methodologies, and industry trends.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, C#, or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience working with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
