Compensation: $45,000 - $48,750 per year, depending on skills and experience.
Burgess Animal Hospital, located in Cambridge, ON, is currently welcoming a Veterinarian to join our associate team! As a successful candidate for this role, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team to provide the best care possible.
Responsibilities
Soft tissue surgical procedures, end-of-life procedures, dental procedures, and other preventative care or treatment plans
Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
Guiding pet owners on care for their fur babies
Coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
Coaching and mentoring junior veterinary technicians and assistants
Qualifications
A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada; fully licensed from an accredited school, or foreign trained with a certificate of qualification completed.
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and the community
The ability to manage multiple appointments
Accurate medical record keeping
Ability to adapt to each appointment and the services required for that patient
