Top Tomato Foods is one of Ontario’s largest growers, packagers and distributor s of Ontario's best quality produce. Family owned and operated, Top Tomato Foods carries the same traditional values its founders started with over 50 years ago. Our core produce line includes cauliflower, cabbage and broccoli. Additionally, we also grow many other fruits and vegetables which are sold through our 19th Avenue Farmers Market.
Summary of Job Description
As a Top Tomato Foods Driver, your main duty will be helping with delivering loads of produce and picking up produce from different locations. You will be expected to be able to count and organize loads, and ensure that the drop off and pick up invoices are correct. You will have the incredible opportunity to learn about Ontario agriculture and products, as well as various skills in merchandising and customer service. You may be required to drive employees to and from various locations. You must have a valid DZ or AZ license. CLASS B or C License not required, but an asset.
This position is seasonal
You might be required to work weekends and public holidays. Work will most likely consist of early morning and afternoon hours.
Seasonal position with potential for recurring work each year.
Primary Responsibilities
a. Driving loads of produce from place to place
b. Ensuring the correct temperature inside the truck is correct for certain produce
c. Internal transfers between company locations
d. Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
e. Daily bus/truck inspections

4. Professional attitude and good customer service skills with customers and staff
5. Accurate calculating skills
6. Knowledge in produce and local delivery experience an asset
7. Responsible and reliable
