Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Packager Operator opportunity in Windham Centre, ON within the food and beverage production industry. This contract/temporary role is ideal for candidates with 1 to 2 years of manufacturing, packaging, production, or general operations experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Packager Operator, you will help package, inspect, label, count, and prepare finished products while supporting quality standards and efficient production flow. This opportunity offers a steady Monday to Friday daytime schedule, competitive hourly pay, and the potential for health and dental benefits once hired on after 6 months.

This role is a great fit for someone who values teamwork, consistency, and a positive production environment. You will work with a supportive team focused on safety, quality, and reliable operations, with opportunities to build practical skills in packaging equipment, product handling, and food production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Package and inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality and presentation standards.
Operate packaging equipment safely and perform basic adjustments or changeovers as needed.
Label, count, sort, and stage products for shipment, storage, or further processing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with production and food safety expectations.
Follow standard operating procedures, production schedules, and instructions from supervisors or team leads.
Support team members to keep production running efficiently and meet daily output targets.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Job type: Contract/temporary.
Health and dental benefits available after 6 months, once hired on.
