Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
Assist with meal assembly and plating for service
Maintain proper food handling procedures during all stages of food preparation
Support the kitchen team during busy hours, ensuring timely service
Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Assist with inventory management and storage of ingredients

Experience

Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is advantageous
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, meal preparation, and serving procedures is beneficial
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning and growth within the culinary field

Job Type: Part-time
