Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales growth across various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop sales expertise in a cabinet industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building lasting client relationships with home owners and builders.

Key Duties

Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, developers, designers, and homeowners.
Identify and pursue new cabinet and millwork sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and project leads.
Monitor upcoming construction projects and bid opportunities to generate new business.
Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and proposals based on project specifications and customer requirements.
Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and millwork plans.
Coordinate with the design, estimating, production, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Conduct site visits to verify measurements, assess project requirements, and resolve issues.
Negotiate pricing and contracts while maintaining company profitability.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
Track sales activities, maintain customer records, and follow up on leads using CRM software.
Stay informed about industry trends, products, materials, and building codes.

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and construction practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings.
Experience preparing estimates, quotations, and project proposals.
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
Effective time management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software; familiarity with estimating and CAD software is an asset.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
