Full job description

Job Summary
At SOFRAM, we take pride in serving exceptional Mediterranean Cuisine and delivering top-notch customer service. We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Line cook-prep cook to join our dynamic team. We are looking for Full Time and Part Time availability. Please note that weekend availability is required. At least 3 years of experince and English is required.

Duties

Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and measuring to ensure smooth workflow during service
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations before, during, and after shifts
Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
Support the team in meal preparation during busy hours to meet customer demand
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes consistently

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry best practices
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction when interacting with front-of-house staff or customers
Kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail
Familiarity with restaurant operations and food service procedures is highly desirable
