The Payroll Administrator runs the payroll system and ensures that employees are paid accurately and on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process employee payroll on a regular schedule (e.g., weekly, biweekly, or monthly)
Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime
Maintain and update employee payroll records.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and company policies
Handle payroll discrepancies, errors, or inquiries
Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
Collaborate with HR and the finance department for seamless payroll operations
Handle RRSP contributions as related to payroll
Billing and Benefits input as related to payroll
Year End Processing

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

understanding of and adherence to confidentiality and privacy issues;
enthusiastic support of the Mission, Vision and Core Values of The Kings School;
provision of a Criminal Record Check from the Winnipeg Police Services or RCMP which affirms that the Vulnerable Sector Screening is clear;
provision of evidence of clearance from the Child Abuse Registry Check;

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
