You're comfortable wearing many hats, whether that's following up with a client, creating a social media post, organizing paperwork, or running an errand across town.

The Opportunity

This position supports two growing businesses—South Coast Design Build and Rideau Coast Cottages. Every day is different, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and wants to become an important part of a growing team.

Some of your responsibilities, based on skillset, may include:

Creating systems, checklists, and processes that improve efficiency
Tracking important deadlines and providing administrative support to move company projects forward
Providing superior customer service while following up with clients and maintaining excellent communication
Basic bookkeeping including receipt entry and invoice preparation
Helping with basic HR administration, including team member training records, first aid stations, supplies, and team support
Helping to create basic marketing materials and client onboarding materials. Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar is an asset.
Inputting and tracking project milestones and change orders. Experience with systems like ClickUp or similar are an asset.
Running local errands and assisting wherever needed
Assisting with special projects as our businesses continue to grow

This role will begin as a part-time position, with the expectation that it will grow into a full-time career for the right person.

Initially, you'll enjoy a flexible work arrangement, working both remotely and in person (Athens) as needed. As our companies continue to grow, the role is expected to transition into a full-time office position.

A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle are required, as occasional local travel and errands are part of the position. You are also responsible for your own phone, and we will issue a tax form for you to claim these as a work expense.

Rideau Coast Cottages is our boutique waterfront resort on the Rideau system, where we create memorable experiences for guests through outstanding hospitality.
