Housekeeping Staff – Part Time – The Ches Penney Family YMCA
Wage Range: $16.12/hr

The YMCA has been part of life in Newfoundland and Labrador since 1854. Our charity’s core programs of Health, Fitness, and Aquatics; Child Care and Day Camp; and Employment, Enterprise, and Newcomer Services are offered at more than 200 locations and points of delivery in our communities throughout the province. Join Our Team

We are seeking a Housekeeping Staff to join our team. Creating a safe and clean environment for members and guests. This is a physically demanding job that requires you to complete repetitive tasks, on-going cleaning and sanitization, garbage removal and replenishing supplies. This position is located at the Ches Penney Family YMCA.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous cleaning experience
Able to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting or reaching
Available to work flexible shifts including, evenings and weekends
Standard First Aid and CPR
Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on an individual basis
