Job Overview

Comox Valley Moving Ltd. is a growing, locally owned moving company looking for experienced Driver / Movers to join our team on a casual, on-call basis. Work is scheduled as moving jobs are booked, with the opportunity for more consistent hours and full-time employment as the company continues to grow.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being physically active, and provides exceptional customer service. Our reputation is built on professionalism, reliability, and treating every customer's belongings with the utmost care.

What You'll Do

Safely operate moving trucks throughout the Comox Valley and Vancouver Island.
Load, unload, wrap, and protect household and commercial furniture and belongings.
Lift and move heavy furniture, appliances, and boxes safely and efficiently.
Work as part of a team to complete moves on time while providing outstanding customer service.
Assemble and disassemble furniture when required.
Maintain a clean, organized truck and ensure moving equipment is properly cared for.
Represent Comox Valley Moving Ltd. in a professional manner at every job.

What We're Looking For

Previous professional moving experience is required.
Experience driving moving trucks or larger commercial vehicles is required.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record (Class 3 is an asset).
Able to safely perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy furniture, carrying items up and down stairs, and working on your feet throughout the day.
Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and a positive team player.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Available to work weekdays and occasional weekends as jobs are scheduled.

Compensation

Starting at $30.00 per hour, with higher wages available depending on experience.
Opportunity for increased hours and full-time employment as the company grows.
