PROFILE
We are seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Float Team in our Vancouver office.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist both legal professionals and assistants within various practice groups
-
Drafting and preparing letters, memos and correspondence as directed by legal professionals
-
Maintaining hard copies and electronic files for legal professionals and assistants
-
Coordinating administrative tasks, such as time opening and close of files
-
Processing billable and non-billable time and invoices
-
Scanning, copying and filing as required
-
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
3-5 years of experience working as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a professional environment
-
Strong client service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with firm members at all levels
-
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight timelines
-
Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential information
-
Able to prioritize and to redefine priorities when necessary
-
Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

The starting range for this role is $52,000.00 - $63,700. Starting salary will be determined based on an applicant’s individual skills, competencies and unique qualifications. Gowling WLG employees have the potential to exceed this range based on tenure and performance.
