Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and boom trucks to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on job sites. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Operate cranes, including boom trucks and forklifts, to lift and transport heavy materials.
Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Communicate effectively with ground crew members to coordinate lifting operations.
Rig loads properly and ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with equipment as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally.

Experience

Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operations and maintenance.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication in diverse work environments.
Experience in customer service is beneficial for interacting with clients on job sites.
Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety standards in crane operation is essential.
