Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role involves coordinating and supporting all phases of Homestead townhomes, ensuring seamless communication, documentation, and project execution. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing strong organizational skills, construction knowledge, and a proactive attitude to drive project success through completion. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while honing your expertise in construction management.

Responsibilities

Project & Contract Administration

Support Project Manager, Site Superintendent and Foreman in all aspects of construction

Project Coordination & Documentation

Track project documentation, timelines, and deliverables
Coordinate and distribute meeting minutes for internal and external meetings
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, ensuring completeness and audit readiness
Support warranty and deficiency tracking and follow-ups

Systems, Data & Office Administration

Manage and maintain company databases, cloud-based file systems, and document control processes
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of project and company records
Manage office supplies, ordering, and general office organization
Provide day-to-day administrative support
Assist with preparation and issuance of construction purchase orders, change orders, and site instructions
Facilitate trade partner onboarding, including vendor setup and coordination of required documentation
Maintain communication with vendors to collect and track contracts, insurance certificates, and WCB documentation

Skills

Proficiency in construction management software including ConstructionOnline, and also Google Workspace, Microsoft office.
Strong understanding of construction estimating, project scheduling, contract management.
Experience with construction site operations and familiarity with schematics and technical drawings.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of construction contracts, legal considerations, and project documentation standards.
Effective communication skills for coordinating among diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to interpret technical schematics and drawings accurately for project execution.

The successful candidate will be hired as a subcontractor to Boxfort.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Experience:

Administrative: 5 years (preferred)
Construction administrative: 5 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
