Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food handling. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, and a commitment to excellent food service is essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation before serving
Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by adhering to station responsibilities and assisting where needed

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting preferred
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
