Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Expert Barista / Latte Artist to join our vibrant coffee team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, exceptional customer service skills, and a keen eye for artistic latte designs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft high-quality beverages, engage with customers, and contribute to a welcoming coffeehouse environment. Strong previous experience as an expert barista is highly valued for this position. Strong background of crafting specialty espresso based drinks in a high paced setting as well as strong knowledge and understanding the maintenance of espresso equipment. Previous Rosary experience is a bonus.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including specialty lattes and artistic foam designs.
Operate POS systems such as SQARE POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained during beverage preparation and serving.
Manage food preparation tasks related to beverages and light snacks as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including UBER system, cash handling and basic math calculations.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients regularly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience.
Amazing customer service skills and creating a welcoming environment at all times is a must, as well as keeping the cafe clean at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a barista with expertise in latte art.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Square for order processing and cashiering.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and hygiene practices.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and constant clean environmen.
Previous experience in serving or food preparation is preferred but not required.
Previous Roastery experience and/or understanding Espresso Machine maintenance is a Bonus.
