Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Education (ECE) Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education and commitment to fostering developmental growth will help lay a strong foundation for our students’ future success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives while gaining valuable classroom experience.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Support children during daily routines such as snack time, naptime, and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Engage children in educational games, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences to stimulate curiosity and learning.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages independence and exploration.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Observe and document children’s progress, sharing insights with teachers and parents to support individualized learning plans.
Assist with classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and inclusivity for all children, including those with disabilities.

Requirements

Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and age-specific teaching strategies.
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
Strong organizational skills to help maintain an engaging and orderly classroom environment.
Passion for teaching and supporting the growth of young learners through creative and nurturing approaches.
Basic understanding of math concepts suitable for early childhood education is desirable.
