Full job description

Next Gen DayCare is looking for an experienced, compliance-minded early learning leader to take the helm as our Centre Director. This is a rare opportunity to lead a growing, purpose-built program in one of Alberta's most desirable small communities — and to shape how a next-generation, science-based approach to early learning comes to life every day.

If you know the Early Learning and Child Care Act and Regulation inside out, if you can run a licensing inspection with total confidence, and if you lead teams the way great educators lead classrooms — with structure, warmth, and high standards — we want to meet you.

What You Bring

Current ECE Level 3 certification (required).
Demonstrated leadership experience in a licensed Alberta child care centre, ideally at director or senior supervisor level.
Working command of the Early Learning and Child Care Act, the Early Learning and Child Care Regulation, and Flight: Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework.
Direct experience managing licensing inspections or corrective action plans.
Strong judgment and a calm, decisive leadership style under regulatory or operational pressure.
A clean, current Vulnerable Sector Check.

What We Offer

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Full-time, Monday to Friday — closed weekends, statutory holidays, and designated PD days.
