Registered Nurse-Emerg (Travel)

We are on the hunt for an experienced Registered Nurse for a contract opportunity in the Emergency Department at a busy hospital in Nova Scotia. From emergency response, to high-acuity interventions, to supporting families through the care protocols, your impact will be felt every day.

General Role Description:

Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care
Conduct rapid assessments, initiate stabilization protocols, and manage urgent/emergent clinical situations
Deliver compassionate care to patients, newborns, and families
Monitor, evaluate, and respond to complex and rapidly evolving patient conditions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated care

Requirements

Covid-Vaccinations x 2, MMR, DTap, HepB or titre work, proof of 2 Step TB test, AND Criminal Records Check/ Vulnerable Sector Check that is within 6 months of application
Active RN and LPN license in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN)
Clinical experience in ER, ICU, and/or OB
Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Confidence in high-pressure, unpredictable settings
