Full job description

At GIP Pyramid Construction, our equipment is the backbone of everything we build. We're looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician who takes pride in diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

If you enjoy solving mechanical challenges, working with a strong team, and taking ownership of your work, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and machinery.
Complete preventative maintenance and inspections.
Identify potential mechanical issues before they become costly breakdowns.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Work closely with operators and supervisors to minimize downtime.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.

What We're Looking For

Experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Valid driver's license (Class 3 or higher is considered an asset).
