Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and proactive Marketing & Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will work closely with and support our Sales and Marketing Coordinator, taking ownership of day-to-day social media activity and content creation while helping bring order and structure to Spire's marketing files and digital assets. This role is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with social media and basic design tools, and energized by getting organized systems in place. You'll also lend general marketing and administrative support wherever it's needed, including proposal and website assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

Maintain a consistent posting schedule across Spire's social media platforms, using approved branding and standardized templates.
Assist with creating engaging social media content, graphics, and promotional materials.
Write clear, compelling copy for social media posts, advertisements, and other marketing communications.
Monitor, coordinate, and help manage digital advertising campaigns for Spire and its development projects.
Track campaign performance and assist with recommending improvements where needed.
Assist in preparing weekly marketing updates, including campaign results, project progress, upcoming initiatives, and key priorities.

Digital Organization & File Management

Complete a full audit of Spire's shared drives, locating and cataloguing past project information, marketing materials, photos, and supporting documents.
Build and organize new marketing job folders to support proposals, the website, and ongoing project work.
Assist with organizing project and job folders to ensure information is properly filed and easy to locate.
Assist with organizing and maintaining the marketing folder structure within Microsoft Teams.
Maintain organized marketing files, templates, content calendars, and digital assets.

General Support

Provide general marketing and administrative support to the team as required.
Assist with proposal preparation and website updates as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Post-secondary education or coursework in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Prior experience with social media management, content creation, or marketing coordination is an asset.
Comfortable with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools; Microsoft Office proficiency required.
Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and structure.
Clear, confident writer with good judgment for brand voice and tone.
Comfortable digging through shared drives and legacy files to track down and organize information.
Self-starter who can manage recurring tasks independently while collaborating closely with the Marketing Coordinator.
