We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Banquet Cooks, responsible for the meticulous preparation of event cuisine. Our ideal candidates demonstrate a keen attention to detail, prioritize cleanliness, and excel in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare food from scratch, following recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines set by the executive chef.
Maintain a comprehensive prep list of station duties, ensuring effective setup and service.
Uphold immaculate cleanliness and organization at all stations, adhering to FIFO principles for optimal product freshness.
Proactively restock low items during shifts and promptly report equipment malfunctions for the executive chef.
Assist in the proper receiving and storage of delivered items, operating kitchen equipment with caution and care.
Adhere strictly to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene protocols, including Health and Safety guidelines.
Collaborate respectfully with colleagues, undertaking additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in fast-paced, upscale banquet settings.
Proficiency in cooking and handling food in high-volume environments.
Possession of a culinary diploma is advantageous.
Demonstrated expertise in professional cooking techniques and knife handling.
Ability to thrive under pressure, following directions efficiently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, coupled with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Applicant must reside in Canada
