We are looking for senior backend engineers for a critical project, that comprises a series of new developments and enhancements for a valuable client in hospitality sector. Engineers will be working with cutting edge tech stack, collaborating closely with the Machine Learning/Intelligence team.
- Independent contributor with minimum guidance needed to navigate through the software development process.
- Working closely with client stakeholders on day-to-day assignments.
- Helping and supporting junior and new team members
- Obtains tasks from the project lead prepares functional and design specifications, approves them with all stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing microservices
- 6+ years of extensive experience in Java backend language..
- Able to work on ambiguous tasks independently.
- Strong understanding of microservices, Sprong Boot, Kubernetes and APIs and end-to-end development from developing to testing.
- Exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale system/product, like APIs, high volume data pipelines, distributed systems, and efficient algorithms
- Willingness to work across the backend stack to address technical challenges anywhere in the system.
- Hands on experience with any modern database
- Hands-on working with GenAI tools, Claude Code.
- Exposure to Python, NodeJS is highly valued
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $62,874 - $147,504
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
