Office Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with clerical tasks. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office workflows, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk duties including greeting patients and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office software
Handle filing, document organization, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist with banking
Provide patient support by addressing inquiries via phone or email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure the workspace remains organized and efficient
Support medical or dental office operations as needed, including patient check-in/out processes and record management

Qualifications

Proven experience in an office setting with clerical or administrative responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
Strong computer skills including data entry, typing, proofreading, and familiarity with multi-line phone systems
Experience with Jane App preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Previous experience in medical or dental offices is advantageous
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training or certification is a plus

Pay: $17.85-$30.00 per hour
