Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for hospitality. This position offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority.

Responsibilities

Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bar and dining spaces
Ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling and serving processes
Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar or dining area as needed
Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining attentive service
Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests

Requirements

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Basic math skills necessary for billing, making change, and managing tabs
Experience with food industry standards, including serving alcohol responsibly when applicable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
