Full job description

Position Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist / Client Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our multidisciplinary health care clinic. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient front desk experience while supporting the daily flow of the clinic. The successful candidate will be organized, empathetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments across multiple practitioners and services.
Check patients in and out, verify demographic and insurance information, and update patient records accurately.
Process payments, direct billing, and basic billing support as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and waiting area.
Support patient flow and help keep appointment schedules running on time.
Coordinate effectively with clinicians and other team members to support daily operations.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, emailing, faxing, inventory, and general office support.
Follow clinic policies, privacy requirements, and confidentiality standards at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a medical, clinic, or customer service setting is an asset.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Comfortable using scheduling software and basic computer programs.
Professional, calm, and compassionate approach with patients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Jane App, direct billing, or a multidisciplinary clinic is an asset.
