KW Habilitation is a local not-for-profit organization that provides a wide range of individualized services and supports to children with any special need and adults with developmental disabilities. The Supervisor of Complex Care has the delegated responsibility to ensure that services provided in the Complex Care setting are within the context of KW Habilitation’s mission statement and that all practices are consistent with policies and procedures. The Supervisor will promote the principles of person-centered thinking and planning in their speech, presentation, and in the performance of their duties by facilitating the development of Individualized Plans that promote growth, dignity, choice, community inclusion, and employment. The Supervisor will act as a leader and positive role model and participate fully as a member of the program team and the Agency as a whole.

Responsibilities
- Supervision of salary and hourly rated support staff
- Facilitate the development of individualized supports and services for the citizens supported
- Complete operational functions
- Collaborate with KW Habilitation management and clinical staff to lead behaviour assessment and treatment efforts in our complex care specialized environments
- Administrative duties
- Uphold property standards
- Foster agency, committee, and community contact
- Carry out health and safety responsibilities as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act and KWH Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Requirements
- College diploma (2 years) and/or a University degree in a human services related field
- At least 3 years direct experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Experience collaborating with clinical professionals in leading behaviour assessment and treatment efforts
- Previous supervisory experience an asset
- Proven leadership skills, excellent communication & organization skills, creative problem-solving, strong decision-making, change management, resource management, strategic thinking, and computer proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 11am-7pm. Some flexibility required.
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: $30.72 – $34.13 per hour
