Position Summary
Barrie Cardinals Soccer Club is currently seeking Competitive Youth Soccer Coaches for the following teams:
Successful candidates will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging training sessions, coaching games, supporting player development, and creating a positive team culture that reflects the values of Barrie Cardinals Soccer Club.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver organized, engaging, and age-appropriate training sessions.
- Coach league games, festivals, tournaments, and club events.
- Support the technical, tactical, physical, and mental development of players.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive team environment.
- Communicate professionally with players, parents, club staff, and fellow coaches.
- Demonstrate professionalism and represent Barrie Cardinals Soccer Club positively within the community.
- Follow Ontario Soccer standards, Safe Sport policies, and Long-Term Player Development principles.
- Work collaboratively with the Club's Technical Staff and coaching team.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and passion for developing young athletes.
- Strong organizational skills and professionalism.
- A commitment to continuous learning and coach development.
Mandatory Requirements
Successful applicants must possess (or obtain prior to coaching) the following Ontario Soccer requirements:
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Learn to Train or Soccer for Life (Trained) or Ontario Soccer Grassroots Diploma (Certified)
- NCCP Make Ethical Decisions (MED) Workshop & Evaluation
- Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders (Soccer)
- NCCP Making Head Way in Sport
- NCCP Emergency Action Plan
- NCCP Understanding the Rule of Two
