Role Overview

As our Customer Service Specialist, you are the face and voice of our practice. You will ensure that every single patient experience is seamless, warm, and memorable. If you love helping others, value building genuine relationships, and want to make a tangible difference in people's health and well-being, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Hospitality: Welcome every patient with a warm smile, guide them through their visit, and ensure they feel comfortable and valued while in our clinic.
Scheduling & Communication: Manage incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and optimize the clinic schedule to keep appointment booking seamless.
Check-In & Check-Out: Seamlessly handle patient check-ins, prepare patient charts, update medical history questionnaires, and process payments accurately.
Insurance Verification: Help patients navigate their vision insurance benefits by verifying eligibility prior to appointments.
Pre-Testing Support (Training Provided): Assist optometrists by using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment for basic pre-screening health checks.
Clinic Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area that reflects our high standards of care.

What We Are Looking For

Service-Minded Professionals: At least 1–2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-focused administrative environment. Medical or optical experience is a plus, but not required!
Excellent Communicators: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, patiently, and compassionately with patients of all ages.
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Highly skilled at managing multi-tasking demands in a dynamic, fast-paced setting without sacrificing accuracy.
Tech-Savvy: Comfort learning new clinic management software and handling point-of-sale systems.
Trustworthy Team Players: A reliable, positive attitude that uplifts both your colleagues and our patients, helping us build long-term community relationships.
