Finatics Accounting Solutions is searching for another client focused Controller to join our Outsourced Accounting Team. This position is Permanent Full Time and 100% remote (work from home).
Our Controllers are an essential contributor to our client experience. This position will work closely with entrepreneurs by providing valuable insights while displaying kindness, compassion, humour, empathy and genuinely caring about the business and individual(s) to create strong, lasting relationships.
A Typical Month for our Controller
1) Create and present meaningful Management Reports, highlighting key areas of strengths, areas for improvement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
2) Meetings with clients to discuss items such as past results, budgets, cash flow, and planning for the future.
3) Oversee bookkeeping function for assigned client base, provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to the direct accounting team.
4) Lead the budgeting, cash flow, forecasts, and KPI creation for each client.
5) Ensure Tax Compliance, reporting and staying up to date with industry specific regulations and compliance requirements.
6) Active participation in both internal and client meetings to identify challenges, develop action plans and provide solutions for improvement.
7) Processing client payments to suppliers, verify invoicing to their customers and payroll are correct.
8) Be a continuous learner with a willingness to embrace innovative technologies that streamline, automate, and optimize processes.
Essential Qualifications:
1) A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with 5 to 10 years of Controller experience.
2) A client-centric, cloud solution-finding, continuous improvement mindset to exceed client expectations.
3) A strategic contributor that has a positive attitude, is enthusiastic and eager to learn and is eager to teach new accounting processes and technology solutions.
4) An exceptional verbal and written communicator that collaborates with both Finatics team members and clients.
Desired Qualifications:
1) Direct experience working in a Client Advisory Services firm.
2) Experience with cloud-based solutions such as QuickBooks Online, Dext, Plooto, Fathom and eCommerce platforms like Shopify are considered assets.

Compensation will be dependent on a combination of education and experience. The salary range for this position is between $95,680 to $108,160 plus fully paid group insurance benefits.
