Registered Nurse-Emerg (Travel)
We are on the hunt for an experienced Registered Nurse for a contract opportunity in the Emergency Department at a busy hospital in Nova Scotia. From emergency response, to high-acuity interventions, to supporting families through the care protocols, your impact will be felt every day.
General Role Description:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care
- Conduct rapid assessments, initiate stabilization protocols, and manage urgent/emergent clinical situations
- Deliver compassionate care to patients, newborns, and families
- Monitor, evaluate, and respond to complex and rapidly evolving patient conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated care
Uphold documentation standards and comply with all regulatory and facility protocols

Requirements
- Covid-Vaccinations x 2, MMR, DTap, HepB or titre work, proof of 2 Step TB test, AND Criminal Records Check/ Vulnerable Sector Check that is within 6 months of application
- Active RN and LPN license in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN)
- Clinical experience in ER, ICU, and/or OB
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Confidence in high-pressure, unpredictable settings
Current CPR/BLS; ACLS, NRP, CTAS, TNCC and PALS considered strong assets
