Are you ready to take the next big step in your hospitality leadership career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is seeking a Hotel Manager who shares our passion for excellence and brings warmth and authenticity to every interaction. The Hotel Manager, is a part of the hotel's Planning Committee and reports to the General Manager. The Hotel Manager, oversees the day-to-day operations of the hotel including the Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Engineering , Spa & Wellness and Security.
Summary
Unique Hotel Elements:
Complex includes a shared 55-story residential and hotel tower and a separate 30-story residential tower.
Underground 92 space parking, retail spaces owned by Paramita Enterprises Limited (since July 2020), operated by third party (Anine Bing and BUCA restaurant).
Complex includes common shared facilities including rose garden, driveway and perimeter. Reciprocal Easement Agreement in place for use of facilities.
Guest rooms & suites fully renovated in 2024.
Unionized in Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Front Desk and Engineering; all other departments non-union.
Outlets under F&B Consulting & License Agreement with the Dinex Group (Daniel Boulud) : Café Boulud & d|bar.

Owner Summary
This asset is the first hotel in the owner’s portfolio (until the opening of FS Jacksonville) and holds a place of pride as a flagship property.
Owner is personally involved and interacts with the Hotel Manager as a sound leader with whom there is a high level of trust and confidence to lead hotel operations, support the General Manager and lead the team in his absence. HM must share ownership's goal/vision and driven to be the best.
Owner is very focused on strong F&B concept and the hotel’s competitive F&B profile within the city; d|bar and Café Boulud are critical indicators of the hotel’s overall image and success.

Current Leadership Requirements
General
Role will ideally be filled by a seasoned HM/RM with a proven track record of operational excellence, strong guest-centric mindset for continued growth, advanced problem-solving capabilities and demonstrated ability to lead a high-volume operation with multiple revenue streams and shared facilities with private residences; balancing operational discipline with innovation and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Pre-opening or renovation experience and background in Food & Beverage is highly preferable.
Priority focus on Forbes 10 star, and aiming for 15 to include Hotel, Spa and Café Boulud.
People
Culture Carrier, Mentor and Collaborator with a strong leadership presence and experience to lead from the front and inspire a sizeable team, including both tenured and emerging Department Heads, while maintaining alignment and accountability across all functions in a dynamic, high-expectation environment.
Skilled in navigating a highly engaged, strong-minded ownership group.
Ability to deal with high expectation residents, board of directors and work closely with RDOR on operation harmony and synergies between the Hotel and Residences.
Needs to be at ease with themselves – mature, confident and assertive, yet humble with strong EQ.
Navigation of complex labour environments and effective change management
Product
High level of creativity with a refined sense of style and attention to detail, ensuring the hotel experience remains distinctive and competitive with a focus on guest metrics (Forbes, GES, Michelin Keys etc….)
Support and align team on project management to deliver renovation and service products with outlet repositioning.
Strong F&B understanding to influence and manage restaurant group relationship and concepts on property.
Profit
Strategic thinker with solid business acumen, capable of driving performance, controlling costs, and optimizing profitability with a long term/strategic outlook approach.
Ability to manage labor standards in conjunction with business/product objectives in mind, including brand objective, local positioning, owner objectives
The ability to react and adjust to changing business environment and lead the team in ensuring efficient financial management of the business.
