Job Summary

Join our team as a Gym Equipment Installer and In-Store Customer Service Associate! In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind delivering top-quality gym equipment installations while providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that each installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine technical skills with customer interaction, making a real impact on people's fitness journeys.

Duties

Safely transport, assemble, and install a variety of gym equipment at customer locations or in-store displays
Ensure store inventory is arranged and easy to find/access
Conduct thorough inspections of equipment before and after installation to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Provide expert guidance and support to customers during in-store visits, answering questions about product features and usage
Maintain a clean, organized workspace during installations and in-store displays to promote safety and professionalism
Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely completion of projects
Troubleshoot minor technical issues on-site and escalate complex problems to specialized technicians when necessary
Document all installations, service visits, and customer interactions accurately for record-keeping purposes

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret assembly instructions and technical diagrams
Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and explain equipment features clearly
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy gym equipment safely and perform manual tasks throughout the day
Attention to detail to ensure precise assembly, safety compliance, and high-quality service delivery
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in assembly and installation processes
A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges confidently
