About REMAX River City

REMAX River City is one of Edmonton’s leading real estate brokerages, with three branch locations and a large network of REALTORS® supported by an experienced administrative team.

We are currently looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our Strathcona branch.

About the Role

This is more than a traditional front-desk position. Our Receptionists are an important part of the day-to-day operations of the brokerage and provide administrative support to our REALTORS® and internal team.

You’ll be the first point of contact for people coming into the office while also handling a variety of administrative responsibilities behind the scenes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting REALTORS®, clients, vendors and guests and providing a friendly, professional first impression
Answering and directing incoming calls and responding to general office inquiries
Monitoring office email and distributing information as needed
Receiving and distributing cheques, courier deliveries, parcels and other incoming items
Providing day-to-day administrative support to our REALTORS®
Assisting with new listings, amendments and terminations
Reviewing listing documentation for completeness and following up on missing information
Entering and maintaining accurate information within our brokerage systems
Ordering land titles, corporate searches, tax searches and condominium plans as required
Assisting with the onboarding and orientation of new REALTORS®
Maintaining office supplies and inventory
Helping ensure office equipment and common areas are organized and functioning properly
Assisting with office meetings, events and other administrative projects as needed

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people but is equally comfortable staying organized behind the scenes.

The right person for this role will be:

Friendly, approachable and professional
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a busy environment
Confident communicating both in person and over the phone
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Reliable and comfortable following established processes
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new programs and systems
A team player who is willing to jump in and help when needed
Someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming and positive office environment

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required.

Previous reception, administrative or customer service experience is preferred. Experience within a real estate brokerage or another busy professional office environment would be considered an asset, but we are happy to train the right person.

Full-time, Monday-to-Friday daytime schedule
Starting wage of $19.00 per hour, with consideration for a higher starting rate based on experience and qualifications
