Job Overview

Duties

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency
Develop innovative menus that reflect current food trends while aligning with the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to guarantee a safe dining environment
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize profitability without compromising quality
Train staff on food handling techniques, hygiene practices, and service standards to foster a professional and efficient team
Collaborate with front-of-house management to coordinate serving times and enhance overall guest satisfaction

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting with a focus on culinary excellence
Extensive food preparation and cooking skills across various cuisines and techniques
Solid background in food service operations with a strong understanding of restaurant management principles
Demonstrated team management abilities, including training, mentoring, and motivating staff members
Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications relevant to the food industry
Experience in kitchen management, inventory control, and cost optimization strategies
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire a team and uphold high standards of hospitality
