Whether you're an experienced bread baker or a skilled artisan looking to grow your craft, this position is perfect for individuals eager to make a meaningful impact through quality baking. You’ll be an essential part of our bakery team, delivering fresh, handcrafted products every day.

Responsibilities

Prepare, mix, ferment, shape, and bake sourdough breads according to established recipes and production standards
Maintain and care for sourdough starters and preferments to ensure consistent product quality
Assist in food preparation and baking to support the kitchen and bakery team during busy production periods
Provide friendly, attentive customer service when interacting with guests and retail customers
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Package baked goods efficiently for retail, wholesale, and customer orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas
Monitor product quality throughout the baking process and ensure all products meet presentation and quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience in sourdough bread production and food preparation within a bakery, restaurant, or commercial kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of fermentation, baking techniques, dough handling, and food safety standards
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety protocols
Bakery or kitchen experience demonstrating versatility across various food production roles
Attention to detail in product quality, consistency, packaging, and hygiene practices
