About the Opportunity

Our client is an established Vancouver-based company with operations spanning real estate development, construction and property management. They are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Accounting & Office Administrator to join their team.

This is a junior-level position offering a combination of accounting, administration and reception responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to accounting or office administration, strong attention to detail, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or junior professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks
Match invoices to purchase orders (POs) and confirm required approvals
Organize and maintain accounting records and documentation
Prepare basic summaries and reports using Microsoft Excel
Enter and organize financial and administrative information
Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying and document management
Provide reception and general office support
Answer and direct incoming calls and greet visitors
Maintain organized office and common areas
Assist the accounting team with various administrative tasks
Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field is an asset
Previous accounting, administrative, reception or office experience is preferred
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to create basic summaries and organize data
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Professional and friendly communication style
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
Willingness to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities
Recent graduates and junior candidates are encouraged to apply

What We Offer

$50,000 annual salary, depending on experience
