Full job description

Paradise LeisureScapes is looking for an experienced Purchasing & Inventory Control Lead to oversee purchasing, inventory management, receiving, and inventory accuracy across our operation.

This is a key role for someone who is confident, organized, analytical, and accountable. We are looking for a person who takes ownership, understands the importance of accurate inventory, and is comfortable leading processes and holding them to a high standard.

Required Experience

Strong working knowledge of Sage 300 is mandatory
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proven inventory management and inventory control experience
Purchasing and purchase order experience
Leadership experience within a warehouse or inventory environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confidence to make decisions, address discrepancies, and follow through to resolution

Key Responsibilities

Manage purchasing and purchase orders
Monitor inventory levels and determine purchasing requirements
Maintain accurate inventory within Sage 300
Oversee receiving and ensure quantities, costs, serial numbers, and product information are accurate
Reconcile physical inventory against system inventory and investigate discrepancies
Monitor stock movement, shortages, overstock, and slow-moving inventory
Develop and maintain inventory reports and tracking tools using Excel
Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory counts
Work closely with warehouse, retail, sales, service, and management
Establish and improve inventory and warehouse procedures
Ensure processes are consistently followed and issues are addressed
Provide leadership and accountability within the warehouse and inventory function
