Azhadi Vineyards is more than a winery; it is a celebration of culture and craft. From our hand-tended vineyards to our architectural design, every detail is crafted to evoke peace, elegance and meaning. Since 2018, Azhadi Vineyards has been passionately planting and caring for its vineyards, producing and bottling excellent wine. Our destination winery building is nearing completion and scheduled to publicly launch early 2026 in Kelowna, BC. Azhadi Vineyards is a privately held company within the Azhadi Group, a group of companies which develops and operates wineries and vineyards throughout the Okanagan Valley, including the established Ex Nihilo Vineyards in Lake Country, BC.

Position Overview
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Temporary Full- Time Human Resources Administrative Coordinator for Azhadi Group to assist with our growing team! This is a position to cover a maternity leave for 18- months. Within this Azhadi Group role, you will work alongside the Finance team and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless HR Administration, exceptional employee support, and smooth operational workflows for both Azhadi Vineyards and Ex Nihilo Vineyards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in working with HRIS software, people and task management. The role will also support various recruitment objectives, such as coordinating interviews, contract management and onboarding. The ideal candidate has a passion for automating processes and providing HR support across the organization! This is an excellent role to gain experience in full cycle HR, contributing to a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
Start Date: Mid-July
Only residents of the Okanagan will be considered at this time as we work with a hybrid model.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and organized employee files within our online file management system and HRIS (PUSH Operations & Sharepoint).
- Prepare employee-related documentation including employment agreements, confirmations of employment, and immigration/visa documentation.
- Draft and prepare contracts and related addendums.
- Assist with internal HR support inquiries and manage external HR-related inquiries.
- Track, monitor, and report on key employee metrics.
- Support performance management processes and related documentation.
- Assist with recruitment administration including job descriptions, resume screening and interview coordination.
- Support payroll administration and coordinate with the Finance team.
Culture & Employee Experience
- Act as a brand ambassador for our Core Values and company culture.
- Build strong, positive relationships with team members and senior leadership.
- Support improvements to onboarding and the overall employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate employee surveys via the HRIS and support tracking and reporting on survey outcomes.
IT & Systems Coordination
- Manage and support IT requests related to onboarding, offboarding, and software licensing—including Office365, PUSH Operations, and other company platforms.
- Maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights in support with IT external support.
Operations & Office Support
- Provide administrative support to the Operations team and assist with office management coordination.
- Support HR and operational alignment across various teams.
Project Support
- Assist with ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years of Human Resource experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field; CPHR designation or in the process of considered an asset
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll support
- Backend IT support experience considered an asset
- Deep understanding of 'technical requirements” and ability to learn tech systems efficiently
- Strong attention to detail pertaining to contract writing and employee documentation
- Superior organizational skills and exceptional ability to manage various tasks with ease
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- A high-level of professionalism, diplomacy and tact
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Office 365)
- Ability to produce results independently while maintaining a positive team environment
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Outgoing, personable attitude
- An entrepreneurial mindset and likes to take ownership of projects and deliverables
Compensation:
The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,000-60,000, the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, and internal equity.
