Full job description

Kemptville District Hospital is seeking a Manager of Pharmacy Services to join our growing team, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University;
Licensed with the College of Pharmacists of Ontario;
Recent leadership/management experience in a hospital setting (within the last 3 years);
5 years hospital pharmacy experience;
Experience leading quality improvement initiatives;
Demonstrated effective interpersonal conflict resolution by practicing active listening and respectful communication skills;
Proven facilitation, planning, collaboration, execution and leadership skills;
Ability to gain support and commitment from team members and direct reports and work towards a common goal;
Ability to understand the key relationships, diverse interest groups within his/her own department(s) and the organization;
Experience in providing quality, patient-centred care and mentoring staff to achieve and deliver the same;
Demonstrates critical thinking – ability to understand business implications of functioning of one’s department(s) and organization;
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Anzer.
