Job Description:

As a Security Guard at Admiral Security, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients' properties, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Access Control: Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry.

Patrols: Conduct routine patrols to deter criminal activity and respond to incidents, ensuring the safety and security of the property.

Emergency Response: Act promptly in case of emergencies, such as fires, medical situations, or security breaches, and report incidents as necessary.

Surveillance: Use surveillance equipment to monitor and report on suspicious activities, ensuring a proactive security presence.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients and visitors with information and directions when needed.

Report Writing: Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting any security-related incidents and activities during your shift.

Collaboration: Work closely with other security personnel, local law enforcement, and emergency services when required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

No Prior License Required: We can assist you with the security guard license application process.

First Aid and CPR Certification: Certification is considered an asset.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Observational Skills: Be detail-oriented and able to identify potential security threats.

Customer Service Orientation: Friendly, approachable, and capable of providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

Professional Demeanor: Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while on duty.

Valid NB Driver's License: A valid New Brunswick driver's license is preferred.

Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.

Surveillance : Utiliser du matériel de surveillance pour surveiller et signaler les activités suspectes, assurant ainsi une présence proactive en matière de sécurité.

Service à la clientèle : Fournir un service à la clientèle exceptionnel en aidant les clients et les visiteurs en leur fournissant des informations et des orientations lorsque cela est nécessaire.

Rédaction de rapports : Tenir des rapports d'incident détaillés et précis, en documentant tous les incidents liés à la sécurité et les activités pendant votre quart de travail.

Qualifications :

Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous devriez posséder les qualifications et les compétences suivantes :

Pas de licence de sécurité requise : Nous pouvons vous aider avec le processus de demande de licence de sécurité.

Certification en premiers soins et RCR : La certification en premiers soins et RCR est considérée comme un atout.

Compétences en communication : D'excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite sont essentielles.

Compétences d'observation : Être attentif aux détails et capable d'identifier les menaces potentielles à la sécurité.
