Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or vandalism, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a professional demeanor, keen observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their security skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the property
Enforce security protocols and access controls to prevent unauthorized entry
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff as needed
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times

Experience

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred but not required
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is advantageous
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications
