Key Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, shelves, and surfaces throughout the store.

Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste properly to maintain hygiene standards.

Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials in washrooms and cleaning stations.

Sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, countertops, and restrooms to prevent the spread of germs.

Maintain organization and tidiness of backrooms, storage areas, and cleaning equipment.

Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following all safety protocols.

Work efficiently to complete cleaning tasks with minimal disruption to store operations, including during business hours.

Communicate promptly with store management regarding maintenance issues, damages, or hygiene concerns.

Adapt to changing schedules and cleaning priorities, including availability for evening and weekend shifts.

Participate in regular hygiene inspections and address any identified deficiencies.

Provide courteous, professional interaction with customers when cleaning in-store during open hours.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support store excellence.
Qualifications and Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within retail or customer-facing environments.

Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.

Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Good communication skills and professionalism in interactions with customers and team members.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
