Bring strategy and precision together as a Senior Project Manager driving high-impact cost estimating across Irving Shipbuilding programs and industry partners. In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of key estimating initiatives, blending analytics, engineering, contracts, planning, and program management to deliver accurate, insight-driven outcomes.
Partnering with the Manager, Cost Management, you’ll also enhance and evolve estimating tools and databases, championing automation to improve consistency, efficiency, and productivity.

- Bachelors’ degree with a focus on project management, business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, or computer science/programming.
- PMP designation required.
- 10+ years of experience including project management, strategy and governance, change management, developing technology-based solutions.
- Experience in shipbuilding, construction or manufacturing is an asset.
- Ability to read and write technical documents as well as analysis and data management.
- Excellent communication skills (email and verbal) with an ability to engage all levels of stakeholders within the organization and external contacts.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
