Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves creating stylish and personalized haircuts, color treatments, and styling while maintaining a welcoming environment for clients. The Hair Stylist will also engage in retail sales and promote additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.

Duties

Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments tailored to client preferences.
Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert advice.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment.
Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care treatments to clients.
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.
Foster strong communication with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
Promote salon services and special offers to increase client engagement and retention.

Requirements

Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to upsell retail products naturally during consultations.
Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
