Summary of Position:
Niscon Inc. is seeking a System Installation Technologist to be a part of our Design Engineering team. We develop, manufacture, and install Motion Control Systems in Live Entertainment Facilities in diverse locations such as Egypt, Singapore, Mexico, Macau, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and throughout North America and Europe.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and capable of good time management and will be proficient with Beckhoff PLC deployment, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Solid Works (preferred but not required). Qualified candidates will have a strong general knowledge of electrical symbols / circuits diagrams and the ability to identify different electrical components: breakers, relays, contacts, transformers, fuses, etc. Knowledge of motor controls including servo Motors and Drive as well as variable frequency drives and motors would be preferred. A general understanding of basic physics and machine design principles would be an asset but is not required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this role include:
· Working with Beckhoff PLC Systems and other PLC based platforms
· Attending site work for installation, commissioning, and training of Clients
· Testing and QC controls on products before release to customer
· Design review of installation drawings
· Working with and programming electronic inverter systems

Optimal Education and Experience
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5 years’ experience in Engineering

Salary and Compensation
- We offer a competitive salary based on the experience of the individual.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $74,000.00 per year
Work Schedule: 8 hour shift / 40hrs per week / Monday to Friday
