Summary

We are seeking a Master Electrician / Electrical Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Canada. This pivotal role involves overseeing electrical operations within our construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading electrical teams from planning through execution. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful delivery of our basement development projects.
Responsibilities

Lead and supervise electrical teams on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical installations.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate electrical systems into overall project plans.
Manage procurement of electrical materials and ensure timely delivery.
Conduct inspections and quality control checks throughout the construction process.
Maintain compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize project delays.
Mentor junior electricians and support their professional development.
Act as the company's designated Master Electrician and maintain compliance with ESA requirements.
Oversee residential and commercial electrical projects.
Supervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
Review and approve electrical installations and work orders.
Conduct site visits and quality control inspections.
Assist with estimating, job costing, and project planning.
Support recruiting, training, and mentoring field staff.
Ensure compliance with Ontario Electrical Safety Code and all applicable regulations.
Work closely with management to grow the business and improve operations.
Support business development and customer relationship management.

QualificationsRequired

Valid Ontario Master Electrician License.
ECRA/ESA knowledge and regulatory experience.
5+ years of electrical industry experience.
Strong understanding of residential electrical systems.
Valid Ontario driver's license.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred

Experience managing crews and projects.
Commercial electrical experience.
Estimating and quoting experience.
Experience with EV chargers, generators, service upgrades, and renovations.
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in helping grow a business.
