We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Account Manager specializing in Small Business clients. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with small business customers, identifying their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions. Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Responsibilities
· Policy Renewals – working with Producer/Account Executive
· Timely preparation of documents such as: letters, pre-renewal letters, client renewal packages, policies, submissions, binders, summaries, proposals and year end premium adjustments
· Marketing of Accounts/ preparation of Summaries/Submissions
· Negotiating with Insurers
· Analyze renewal policy documents and wordings
· Communicating renewal premiums with clients/ Producer/Account Executive
· Gathering of renewal information – working with Producer/Account Executive
· Issuance of Binders within Policy Works
· Invoicing of renewal premiums
· Requesting endorsements to insurers
· Provide client with prompt, courteous and professional service
· Effective management of abeyances and expiry dates
· Sending timely submission to underwriters and following up for responses
· Answering client inquiries, communicating with insurance companies
· Negotiation and use of Finance Plans
· Request of Loss Runs, Loss Experience letters from Insures
· Communicating with insurance companies – sending requests, follow ups etc.
· Inputting data and setting up client and prospect screens to Epic and PolicyWorks
· Premium Comparisons
· Cross sell and up sell to current clients
· Providing Account Assistants with clear written instructions
Experience
· College Diploma/University Degree or equivalent experience
· RIBO Licensed
· CIP, CAIB achieved or working towards
· Minimum 5+ years of Commercial Insurance – Construction Industry an asset
· Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
· Experience in Epic or similar insurance brokerage management system
· Experience in PolicyWorks an asset
· Strong attention to detail, time management and analytical skills
· Strong organization, interpersonal, written and oral communication
· Works effectively within a team environment to achieve specific goals
· Is an effective team player demonstrated by willingness to help out and contribute as required
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
